NEW PATCHES
We have created new patches for this year’s ride. They are round and 4″ in diameter. Check them out below and let us know what you think.

T-SHIRT COLOR IS CHANGING TO RED
This year, we are changing the t-shirt color to red. We will be taking pre-orders for the shirts starting August 1. That way, we have a better idea how many to order and don’t end up spending extra money that can be used elsewhere to support our recipients. If you purchase a t-shirt or patch and cannot make the ride, we will ship them to you at no additional charge.
THIS YEAR WE ARE FOCUSING OUR FUNDRAISING EFFORTS LOCALLY
For the last 5 years, we have provided support for the Tunnel to Towers organization as part of our fund-raising efforts while, at the same time, supporting the families of local fallen First Responders who are killed in the line of duty. This year, we are going to concentrate our efforts 100% locally so we can work to support our own community at home. Along with the local families, we are in the process of finding another local organization that needs our support.
This year, we have chosen Connecting Georgia Veterans (CGV), an organization that provides support to veterans and servicemembers with needs resulting from homelessness, drug addition and more. You can find out information about there using the ABOUT tab in the menu above.
RAIN DATES ADJUSTED
We are changing the potential rain dates for this year’s ride. Last year, we had people from out of state indicate they could not come back the next weekend and wondered why we didn’t set the initial rain date for the next day. We listened! This year’s initial rain date will be Sunday, Sept. 13th and, if that one gets rained out, we will plan for the following Sunday, Sept. 20th.
SPONSORS NEEDED
Are you willing to sponsor this year’s event? We need a number of sponsors to make it even better since this is the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. If you want to sponsor the event, please reach out to Dan through the CONTACT US button above. Stay tuned…
